Defending the Caveman!

Defending the Caveman!
The universal differences between men and women. These have been debated for centuries; in books and magazines and in the routines of stand up comedians around the world. It is a subject that brings much confusion to the table and provides plenty of debate for those who choose to go down that road.

It has been seen in the West End on numerous occasions whilst appearing on stages all around the world, but its undying popularity keeps it going as people strive to learn the truth concerning queries that have been on our minds since the dawn of man.

Rob Becker is the playwright behind the one-man show, but rather than put together something that would highlight differences and nothing more he instead sought to provide peace between the warring genders. After three years of putting together the material it eventually premiered in San Francisco to great success before jetting off to locations across America and the world, with a stop off on Broadway in 1996 along the way. Eventually it would become the longest running one-man show on Broadway, leading to then-Mayor Giuliani hailing the moment of truth 'Caveman Day'.
